The Minnesota Real Estate Team of REMAX Advantage Plus offers tools to allow you to preview real estate listings from Participants of the Northstar MLS MN. Everyday, our licensed agents and Realtors provide customized home search services for our buyers. Our Minnesota home listings search tool gives you the ability to locate and preview available properties. It’s a powerful, and flexible tool you can use to locate properties of interest to you. To get the most from our listings tools, here are some tips:

• Before starting a search, look over the search form – It’s divided into sections, and each section lets you customize your search in some way. By carefully choosing options, you can narrow your multiple listings search to browse through properties that meet your exact needs. Take the time to look over every screen that appears and you’ll find even more tools and options.
• Register with SearchSaver – At the top of the search form, you’ll see a button marked SearchSaver. Click this button to register with us. By filling out the simple form and registering, you’ll be able to login to the search. Registration is free, and provides up to 20 more fields of data for each listing. It also lets you save your searches and get email notifications of new property listings that match your criteria. You’ll also be able to create a list of favorite properties and email those favorites to your agent or friends.
• Choose Multiple Listing Types – At the top of the form, you can select whether to see active listings, open houses, or foreclosed properties in specific regions in Minnesota.
• Select an Area to Search – Tabs at the top of the search form let you search by Minnesota MLS number, County or City, Address or Zip, School District, or Body of Water. Select the tab that matches what you want to search for.
• Narrow the Area to Search – Under the tabs, you can narrow your search. For example, you can choose a particular county to limit the search, and then select specific cities to search. When selecting cities, click on the city, and then click Add to include that city to the search list. You can select multiple cities, adding them one at a time. Other options appear if you choose one of the other tabs. For example, under the School District tab, you can choose individual school districts, and your search will only show properties in that district.
• Select Property Types – On the left side of the form, there are a series of property type options to select. Click as many as you wish that fit your search criteria.
• Select Property Features – In this section of the form, you can select price ranges for your property search, numbers of bedrooms and baths, age of home, home style, size, and many other options. The more detailed the features you select, the narrower your search will be. Hint : If you’re flexible with some criteria, especially price and other features, you’ll see more homes to consider. Many multiple listings of Minnesota real estate are selling within just a few days of hitting the market.
• Save Your Search – If you’ve logged in with SearchSaver, you can save your search criteria, so you can return to that exact search at any time. Just click the Save Search button and give the search a name in the next screen.
• Start Your Search – After selecting all of your options, click Search Results to view property listings that match your criteria. Those properties listed by Participants of Northstar MLS will appear in an ordered list. You can change how they are sorted. You can also change your criteria and refine your search. Click Next to view the next group of listings.
• View Individual Properties – To view individual properties, just click on the image in the listing or click the MN MLS number. If you are logged in with SearchSaver, you can request a showing of an individual property you see, add it to your favorites list or use other tools on the page. To return to the main list, click the Back to Results button. Or you can see the previous or next listing by clicking the appropriate button. If you click the New Search button, though, you’ll return to the original screen and have to start over, unless you’ve saved your search.
• Learn as You Go – The more you use this powerful search tool, the more you’ll discover that it can do. Whenever you see a new screen, take the time to study it and see what new options it offers. Remember to save your searches and experiment with the tools and options available.
